Book Review: Infinite Intelligence by Arvind Sharmaa

Infinite Intelligence by Arvind Sharmaa is powerful and if one were to incorporate these ideas into everyday life it would indeed be an unstoppable force. The reality is obvious; if you’re feeling happy you are thinking happy thoughts. What is exciting is to realize that one can use one’s feelings to understand what one is thinking. This book teaches us to understand today, create tomorrow, but allow the universe to positively influence us as we project positive energy.

Arvind Sharmaa presents Infinite Intelligence as something far more circumstantial, expansive, and dynamic. According to him, a state of intelligence that is present in everything, everyone, and everywhere is called infinite intelligence. Though few are aware of its existence, it is all-encompassing and all-pervasive. It exists from the beginning and will exist for as long as time lasts. Almost all there is in this world is the result of Infinite Intelligence. Author further elaborates that understanding Infinite Intelligence, experiencing its presence, and then learning how to cocreate with it will help us identify our inner strengths for growth, development, and evolution. Our lives can be positively changed if we have access to it.

The book goes on to apply the concept of Infinite Intelligence to health, relationships, abundance, and ultimately life. Indeed the point is to be happy now, feel good now. The book focuses on ‘controlling’ your thoughts to direct positive energy. What we hold in our minds is what we will attract with. Thoughts are more than thoughts; they are real things and they have a force behind them. Without saying so explicitly, author talks about the tricks and tips humans need and continue to refine to overcome the capacity limits.

Infinite Intelligence sounds like a typical self-help book, but it’s a real find. The author, Arvind Sharmaa, is a seasoned HR leader with 24 years’ expertise in the field of Human Resources, and the book is filled with his insights and experiences that can be applied to anyone reading it. The main objective of this book is to give a better understanding of life and the ways to live it. The author integrates the latest research and general science with the spiritual wisdom of the ages to propose how, through Infinite Intelligence, anyone can improve self-awareness and conscious intention. The human brain can be taught to extend far beyond fulfilling the tasks of everyday life. In extremely accessible prose, the author illustrates how consciousness controls the brain and how we can transform it for health, happiness, and spiritual growth.

The author suggests we must make a paradigm shift in our way of thinking to harness the powers of the universe. He restates the laws of attractions, a way of life that relies on changing your attitude toward all things to make your life amazing. This book is very inspiring and makes you realise that the power is really within you. By altering your thoughts you can change your mindset and how your life will turn out.

In Infinite Intelligence, Arvind Sharmaa covers a great range of topics throughout the book. The author’s writing style is easy to follow while presenting theories we can connect to our everyday lives. His conclusion is clear: people who can extend their minds more fully can solve problems more effectively in everyday life. The book is timely and ties together a vast array of influences on the activity of thinking, knowing and being. Overall, I found this book to be useful for me professionally and personally.
