Psychological Thriller

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

When I started reading Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn, I was surprised by how different it was compared to her other works. Flynn creates very dark and violent stories with very, very disturbed characters.

Lethal Dosage Of Life by Vladas Golambiauskas

Lethal Dosage of Life is a poetic, disorienting book about semi-criminals, heroin addicts and idlers squandering their lives on the fringes.

Book Review: The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins

If you want to read a gripping mystery/psychological thriller that will blow your mind, The Girl on the Train is the book for you. Well written with a very well done plot, “The Girl on the Train” is told from multiple (three) POVs.

At first I wasn't sure that I would like this book; The Silent Patient seemed, for all intents and purposes, like just another generic psychological thriller. In many ways it was, but in other ways, it stood out because of its excellent characters and the depth of the story and its themes.
