15 Books about Trump and the White House

There are many books about Trump and his presidency have been written and published in last few years. From latest release, Fear: Trump in the White House by Journalist Bob Woodward, stunning revelation have been emerging about The Trump White House.

So many memoirs and books about Trump and life inside the White House came out. Journalists and political operatives remain transfixed on the effects of Trump’s presidency on the Americans and on the World.

Here is a list of the books about Trump and the White House.

Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House by Michael Wolff

The book was published in January 2018. It had reached the top position on the New York Times Bestseller list. This book by Michael Wolff is described as a behind-the-scene look at the first year of the Trump administration.

Many of the claims in Fire and Fury were widely discredited.  Author Michael Wolff has even wavered on if everything written in the book is true. At one point he said he wasn’t sure if it was entirely factual. This is one of the best books about Trump and his presidency.

Media Madness: Donald Trump, the Press, and the War over the Truth by Howard Kurtz

This book by Howard Kurtz was also released in January 2018. The book focuses on the relationship between Donald Trump and the media that covers the president. Howard Kurtz hosts “Media Buzz” on Fox News.

Some of the stories in this book include Bannon telling Donald Trump that he could be impeached, how counselor Kellyanne Conway felt betrayed by her friends in the press and the deterioration of Trump’s relationship with the “morning Joe” television show hosts.

Trumpocracy: The Corruption of the American Republic by David Frum

Trumpocracy, also published in January 2018, talks about how Trump has damaged the American democracy and hurt America’s future. The Author argues that Donald Trump and his administration are permanently damaging the American democracy.

David Frum was a White House speechwriter for President George W Bush and currently he’s working as a columnist for The Atlantic.

It’s Even Worse Than You Think: What the Trump Administration Is Doing to America by David Cay Johnston

New York Times Bestseller book “It’s Even Worse Than You Think: What the Trump Administration Is Doing to America” by David Cay Johnston was also published in January 2018. The title of the book itself says a lot about content in the book.

Author Johnston says in the book that Donald Trump is undermining various aspects of the federal government and it will have a compromising impact on the American people. The book focused on Donald Trump’s desire to build a wall along the US-Mexican border, his effort to drain the swamp and the implementation of tariffs. The Faith of Donald J. Trump: A Spiritual Biography by David Brody and Scott Lamb

This book by David Brody and Scott Lamb was published in February 2018. It mainly focuses on the president’s religious beliefs.

Author David Brody writes about Donald Trump being raised as a Presbyterian. He also wrote about Trump’s connection to Evangelicals and his advisers’ similar views on Christianity. David Brody serves as the Christian Broadcasting Network’s chief political correspondent.

Killing the Deep State: The Fight to Save President Trump by Jerome Corsi

Killing the Deep State was published in March 2018. The author Jerome Corsi is a far-right political commentator and conspiracy theorist. He defeated 16 Republican candidates in the primary and Hillary Clinton in the general election.

Corsi says that the so-called deep state is now the biggest obstacle to Trump’s presidency. Author claims that the bureaucratic holdovers from the Obama administration, mainstream media, and Democratic candidates are conspiring to destroy Trump’s presidency and prevent him to serve his full term in office.

The New York Times bestselling author Ronald Kessler’s book, The Trump White House was published in April 2018. Kessler gives readers an unbiased and unvarnished view on Donald Trump and the White House.

Andrew Puzder’s book The Capitalist Comeback was also published in April 2018. Puzder once served as the CEO of Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s; and had to withdraw as Trump’s first secretary of labor nominee. He says in the book that Trump is embracing capitalism by bringing back pro-business policies and economic growth to the US. He claimed in the book that Trump’s business background is saving the American economy in the White House.

Born Trump: Inside America’s First Family by Emily Jane Fox

This book by Emily Fox was published in June 2018 and landed in The New York Times Bestseller list. Emily Jane Fox is the Vanity Fair reporter; and she does deep dive on Trump’s adult children and son-in-law in the book.

In the book, she writes about the lives of Trump’s children, what roles they’ve played in the campaign and administration. She also focuses on the relationship dynamics with each other and their father. Emily Fox talk about how their childhood were like growing up as Trump’s kids.

The Briefing: Politics, The Press, and The President by Sean Spicer

The Briefing: Politics, The Press, and The President was published in July 2018. The author Sean Spicer is the former White House press secretary and in the book, he takes the readers inside his time working for Trump.

Published in July 2018, Judge Jeanine Pirro’s book topped The New York Times Bestseller list. The book takes the aim at the alleged ‘deep state’ and claims that it’s trying to take down Trump. Author reveals what is actually going on in the White House.

In the book, author Pirro focuses on corruption in the law enforcement community, fake news, and national security leaks.

The Russia Hoax: The Illicit Scheme to Clear Hillary Clinton and Frame Donald Trump by Gregg Jarrett

The Russia Hoax was published in July 2018 and also reached the No. 1 position on The New York Times Bestseller List. Gregg Jarrett is the Fox News legal analyst. In the book, he claims that FBI and Justice Department tried to get Clinton elected and defeat Trump in 2016.

Author Jarrett says that the same people are behind the investigation into Trump for alleged collusion with Russia in order to undo the election results and remove Trump from office.

This book was released in last month, August 2018. The author Omarosa Manigault Newman was a senior adviser to Trump in the White House. In the book, Author Newman gives readers a behind-the-scenes look at what her experience and life was like.

In the book, author reveals that she had secretly recorded conversations with Trump and other staffers during her time in the White House.

Under Fire: Reporting from the Front Lines of the Trump White House by April Ryan

Under Fire by April Ryan was published in this month, September 2018. Author writes about covering the Trump White House in the book.

April Ryan covers the White House for American Urban Radio Networks and also she’s a CNN analyst. She takes the readers inside the White House from the perspective of a reporter. She talks about the job of a White House reporter and how it is like to cover the Trump administration on a daily basis.

Fear: Trump in the White House by Bob Woodward

Fear: Trump in the White House by Bob Woodward was published recently on September 11, 2018. It has generated buzz for weeks before it’s release. Author Woodward has earned his name and journalistic reputation by covering the Watergate scandal along with Carl Barnstein and has written books on every president going back to the Nixon White House.

This is one of those books about Trump that has full of damning allegations about the Trump administration and portrays the Trump White House as chaotic and disloyal to the president.
