TBE: Tell us about your book ‘Shobha’, can you share with us something about the book that isn’t in the blurb and why people should read it?

Shobha by Akash RaoAkash Rao: Shobha is a book where the readers will walk through some real-life incidents of any love life, and will feel that giving up was never really an option in a relationship. Talking about any relationship in this world nobody knows who will be the one they will fall for, it’s not in your hand, but what’s in your hand is how well you live with that person irrespective of any unprecedented circumstances coming up in your way which you can’t control or stop.

Generally, people break-up, because they give up too soon just because of some misunderstanding or any unwanted situation which is so likely to happen between any couple, but the true and real ones are those who still wants to be together no matter what happened. This is what I have tried to explain through this story of Shobha.

TBE: Are your characters based on real people or did they all come entirely from your imagination?

Akash Rao: This story is completely my imagination, but the feelings attached with it are real, because that has been taken from real life. As a writer what I truly believe is every single love story has majority of things in common, and what truly differentiate them is the ability to understand each other.

TBE: Do you read often and if so, who are your favorite authors?

Akash Rao: I’m unlikely to read a number of books. I read limited number of books of some good and renowned authors. Well, there are a number of authors I like to read, but one by whom I’m truly motivated is the legend Paulo Coelho.

TBE: What do you like to do when you’re not writing?

Akash Rao: Well at the present age I’m an engineering student, so of course I’m pretty much busy with my stuffs, and whenever I’m not writing, and also not doing any kind of college stuffs then I like to travel which excites me a lot.

TBE: In your opinion, what is the most important thing about a book, characters or plot??

Akash Rao: Well, I think both are equally important, because through characters one can make a plot look real.

TBE: Do you try more to be original or to deliver to readers what they want?

Akash Rao: Apparently, I try to be original, because I believe that people can relate with that, and through that way I would always be able to deliver what they truly want.

TBE: Best piece(s) of advice for writers trying to break in?

Akash Rao:Be original, and one day you will find your way.

TBE: Is there anything you are currently working on that may intrigue the interest of your readers?

Akash Rao:I have been working on different projects, and very soon people will get to know about it.
